Established in 1994, eTranslate has transformed from
a communication and translation firm into a power house

Federal Privacy
Commission eTranslate developed and implemented
a communication campaign targeting 11 communities to create
awareness about their privacy rights.
The campaign involved developing a communication strategy,
multilingual materials development, ethnic press advertising,
material distribution to community networks, event launch
by the Commissioner and obtaining community survey on their
understanding o their privacy rights.

World Society for
Protection of Animals eTranslate was commissioned
by WSPA to research on Australia Chinese community’s
demand for bear bile products and implement a campaign targeting
Chinese and highlighting the cruelty of bear farming and to
encourage them to use alternative medicine.
Research included online survey, focus group survey, telephone
survey and mystery shopping at Traditional Chinese medicine
stalls.
The campaign involved ethnic press advertising, Web site
translation, production of video ads, radio ads, and coordination
of interviews by ethnic radios, public relations activities
and training. We also held campaign launches in community
events to create awareness

and Aged Care Develop strategy for using the multicultural
Internet to create cost effective awareness campaign on bowel
cancer targeting 18 communities
It was DHA very first attempt and successful attempt in using
the multicultural Internet targeting the communities. Lessons
learnt were incorporated into other DHA project.
